More on the Bach Flower Remedies

The 38 Bach Flower Remedies were developed by Dr Edward Bach in the 1930s to support emotional balance and wellbeing. Each remedy has its own particular focus, helping you to gently work with the thoughts, feelings and emotional patterns that are most present for you and to encourage greater balance and harmony within. You can use a single Bach Remedy when you want to focus on a particular emotion or feeling, or create a personalised combination that reflects what you need support with at that moment.

Why Choose Our Bach Flower Remedies

Here at Crystal Herbs, we are specialist producers of Bach Flower Remedies and have a deep love for the remedies and the work of Dr Edward Bach. The 38 Bach Remedies were the very first flower essences we began making in the late 1980s and, today, more than 35 years later, they are still at the heart of our work.

Our Bach Flower Remedies are handmade with love and care according to the original instructions of Dr Edward Bach, using his original preparation methods and the exact plant species that he identified. We make our Bach Remedies ourselves at every stage, from preparing the mother tinctures through to bottling and labelling the remedies that we send to you.

Today, we supply our Bach Flower Remedies to individuals, practitioners, shops and distributors throughout the UK and around the world.

Bach Flower FAQs

  • Do Bach Flower Remedies have a Best Before date? Yes, our Bach Flower Remedies have a best before date of approximately 6 years, although in practice a remedy will often last much longer than this.
  • How Long Does a Bottle Last? It depends on how you use the remedies, but there are approximately 200 drops in a 10ml bottle and approximately 545 drops in a 25ml bottle, so you can make up a lot of combination bottles from a stock bottle.
  • Who Can Use the Bach Remedies? The Bach Flower Remedies are natural flower essences that are suitable for adults, children, and animals and can be used alongside any other complementary and wellness therapies. They're traditionally preserved in brandy, but Bach Flower Remedies in an alcohol free base are also available.
